History

Trautschold Millwork is the oldest family-owned business in Waco, with five generations working for the company. Established in 1893, the company has prospered since its early beginning. C.M. Trautschold was the founder of the C.M. Trautschold Millwork Company, which was passed down to his sons Jerome and Joe Trautschold. It was later sold to great-grandsons Joe Chatham and Michael Sheedy. It is curently under the sole ownership of Michael Sheedy.

Originally, Trautschold Millwork created church furniture and included a glass shop. Presently, the company specializes in custom architectural millwork, including casework (wood & plastic clad), plastic laminates, solid-surface tops, and many other types of custom architectural wood and plastic product.
